A Cadiz woman has died following a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Calloway County.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Department says it happened just after 9:30 a.m. on Highway 94 near the Clayton Drive intersection.
Seventy-two-year-old Karen Paul of Murray was eastbound on Highway 94 when she crossed into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons and struck a westbound automobile operated by 78-year old Clara Thomas of Cadiz.
Both women were flown to area trauma centers after treatment at Murray-Calloway County Hospital and police say Thomas later died from her injuries.
