The Lexington Herald Leader reports the University of Kentucky will host a multi-team, multi day event this season at Rupp Arena. The other teams are Detroit Mercy, Richmond and Hartford. The games are expected to imitate the NBA’s “bubble”. Teams will be tested for Covid-19 before coming to Lexngton and before each game and will also stay in the same hotel.
The format reportedly will call for each team to play three games in a series of doubleheaders. Dates for the UK bubble games have not been announced. The NCAA said last week that teams could open play November 25th.
