A Fort Campbell man was killed in a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Lyon County.
Kentucky State Police say 21-year old Callum McKerr of Fort Campbell had been eastbound on Silver Trail Road when his vehicle went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lyon County Coroner’s Office and police say he was not wearing a seat belt.
The wreckage was discovered by a passerby shortly after 5 a.m. and it’s believed the accident happened sometime between midnight and five.
