The Christian County Health Department reported 15 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Monday.
According to the update, those 15 cases are from Sunday to Monday and put the overall total at 1,207—of that, 204 are considered active and 984 people have recovered from the virus. Breaking it down into age groups, there are 48 active cases in the pediatric age group, 100 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 38 in the older adult category and 18 in the elderly age group.
Christian County has seen 19 COVID-19 related deaths.
