The 70th WHOP Rotary Radio Auction overcame a worldwide pandemic that changed how almost every aspect of the event operated to have another successful fundraiser.
A total of 173 items sold on the auction’s final night, bringing in another $26,112 and new Hour Club donations totaled $90,631.
The grand total for the week was $255,152.96.
That total is without the benefit of a diner, sweet shop or in-person crowds at the War Memorial Building—all unprecedented in the auction’s history.
All money raised will help local high school graduates attend college through the Rotary Scholars and student loan programs.
