A gunshot was fired during a burglary Thursday night on East 23rd Street in Hopkinsville.
Suspects made forced entry into a home in the 300 block of East 23rd just after 11 p.m. and a shot was fired from a 9 mm handgun during the incident, according to the report.
No one was injured and no suspects have been arrested.
Hopkinsville police were able to recover a bullet and shell casing.
