Christian County gained 22 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Thursday to Friday.
That’s according to the Christian County Health Department, which reports that the overall total locally is at 1,167—of that, 187 cases are considered active and 962 individuals have recovered from the virus. Christian County has had 18 COVID-19 related deaths.
Breaking it down into age groups there are 42 in the pediatric age group, 95 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 37 in the older adult category and 13 in the elderly age group.
