Basketball powerhouses Kentucky and Louisville now have a firm starting date. The NCAA Division I Council yesterday approved moving the starting date to November 25th. The season was scheduled to start on November 10th, but was delayed by COVID-19 concerns. Practices can begin October 14th, a 42-day window for a maximum of 30 practices. There will be no exhibition games or scrimmages. Teams will not be permitted to play more than 27 regular season games, a four-game decrease from 2019.
