Stephen Gostkowski kicked the go-ahead field goal with 17 seconds remaining as the Tennessee Titans topped the Denver Broncos 16-14 last night. Gostkowski had missed three field goals and an extra point prior to the go-ahead field goal.
Ryan Tannehill threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Jonnu Smith and MyCole Pruitt caught touchdowns for Tennessee, which improves to 1-and-0. The Titans will host Jacksonville on Sunday.
In the early game, Ben Roethlisberger passed for three touchdowns as the Pittsburgh Steelers bashed the New York Giants 26-16.
