Two candidates running for Christian County school board and Hopkinsville City Council have withdrawn from their races.
The Christian County Clerk’s Office reports Desma Renea Nance Blount won’t run for school board in District 4 and Jarred Mathis won’t seek the Ward 3 Hopkinsville City Council seat.
Mike Walker is now the only candidate in the school board race and the Ward 3 council election will be between Democrat Alethea West and independent Karen Bass.
