The Elkton Dairy Queen was temporarily closed Sunday afternoon by a small fire.
Elkton firefighters responded to the restaurant on West Main Street about 2:25 p.m. and quickly extinguished a small fire in the grill area, according to Elkton Assistant Fire Chief Daniel Smith.
No one was injured in the blaze and Smith says the closure was not expected to last long, as it was just to allow for cleanup and inspection.
