Kentucky reports 536 new COVID-19 cases, three more deaths

Another 536 new cases of COVID-19 and three more deaths were reported Sunday by Kentucky governor Andy Beshear.

Sundays usually produce lower totals due to fewer labs reporting.

Eighty-seven of the new cases were from children ages 18 and younger, of which 24 were children ages five and under.

Kentucky’s coronavirus death total is up to 1,060, with the latest three victims residents of Fayette, Taylor and Warren counties.

The commonwealth’s positivity rate is at 4.14 percent and about 991,000 tests have been performed in Kentucky during the pandemic.

Tennessee reported 933 new cases and 14 more deaths. Montgomery County added 29 new cases, Robertson 15 and Stewart County gained two new cases.
