The Christian County Health Department is hosting their annual low cost rabies clinic throughout the month of September.
Citizens are urged to take advantage of the opportunity, as having your animals vaccinated is required by law and is in the best interest of your pets’ health. A voucher for one rabies vaccine can be acquired at the health department and then taken by appointment to either Skyline Animal Clinic, Mansfield Animal Hospital or Westuck Veterinary Hospital.
The voucher—which is $10 or free with proof of Medicaid or Medicare—must be used within the month of September to be valid. For more information, contact the health department at 270-887-4160.
