Authorities say a LSU football player was arrested early Wednesday morning and accused of abusing his girlfriend and destroying her personal items. 20-year-old Ray Parker was charged with battery of a dating partner and simple criminal damage to property, news outlets reported. He bonded out of jail this morning.
LSU coach Ed Orgeron said yesterday Parker was indefinitely suspended for violation of team rules. Parker was an outside linebacker for LSU last season but switched to defensive end.
