Woman hurt in vehicle versus deer collision

A woman was injured after striking a deer on I-24 Friday.

According to the collision report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, 40-year old Amy Creech was driving a vehicle eastbound near the 82 mile marker when a deer entered the roadway and into her path of travel.  Creech was unable to avoid a collision and collided with the deer.

She was transported to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital for possible injuries to her hand and she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
