The Christian Health Center nursing home on Sterling Drive in Hopkinsville has reported nearly two dozen cases of COVID-19 related to its facility.
Officials there say testing was performed at the nursing center September 2 and positive results came back for 17 residents and six staff members.
Nearly all cases are currently asymptomatic and all patients and families have been notified, according to a news release.
Staff who tested positive are isolated and under the care of their physician. Residents who tested positive have been isolated at the center and are receiving specialized care.
Christian Health Center is working with the Kentucky Department of Public Health and Christian County Health Department to keep all residents and staff safe and healthy.
