The Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints are making strong pushes to sign pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney, according to ESPN. The Clowney signing saga should end soon as both teams want him on the field by Monday with the season starting next week. Clowney played last season with the Seattle Seahawks, who acquired the former first over draft pick in a trade with Houston. Seattle and Jacksonville are also reportedly still in the picture to add Clowney.
In other Titans news, they signed former New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski yesterday. He’s a four-time Pro Bowler and went to the University of Memphis. He missed 12 games last season with a hip injury that required surgery. Tennessee waived kicker Greg Joseph.
