One person was killed and one was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon on the Pennyrile Parkway.
A man driving the motorcycle was traveling north at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate at a curve near the Pembroke Road interchange and crashed into a guardrail, according to Christian County Sheriff’s Major Jason Newby.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his passenger was flown by Air Evac to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Names of those involved have not been released.
