The Jacksonville Jaguars have waived running back Leonard Fournette after three seasons. The move ends a tumultuous run in which Fournette rushed for 2,631 yards and 17 touchdowns. Coach Doug Marrone said the move was strictly related to what he has seen on the field from Fournette during training camp and not about any issues in the locker room.
The Houston Texans today signed inside linebacker Zach Cunningham to a four-year, $58 million contract extension. The 25-year-old Cunningham was a ranked second in the NFL last season with a career-high 137 tackles, the fourth most in franchise history.
