The Lexington Herald Leader has released its 2020 preseason polls for Classes A-3A.
Class A: Defending state champion Pikeville is number one, with Crittenden County 8th. Russellville was among schools receiving votes.
Class 2-A: Defending champ Somerset is first, Mayfield is second, Murray is ranked seventh and Caldwell County is 10th.
Class 3-A: Defending champion Belfry is at the top, Paducah Tilghman is tied for seventh and Glasgow is 10th.
Also returning for the new high school season Friday night is the Kentucky High School Scoreboard show with Rick Shaw and Coach Don Adkins. The show airs at 9:06 Friday night on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.
