Kentucky recorded its fourth highest number of new coronavirus cases Saturday and Governor Andy Beshear announced another three deaths.
There were 825 new cases Saturday and while the state’s positivity rate remained about steady at 4.59 percent, the governor says the number of new cases each week remains far too high.
He says Kentuckians can make a difference and bring those numbers down.
At least 145 of the new cases were children 18 years old and younger.
All three deaths were elderly residents of Lincoln County, bringing the state’s death total to 921.
