A Muhlenberg County teen was killed in an accident Thursday night in Ohio County.
Kentucky State Police say 27-year old Kristopher West of Morgantown was traveling on KY 764 when he ran off the right shoulder of the road and struck a utility pole, ejecting all three occupants.
A passenger—17-year old Brianna Bratcher of Bremen—was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another passenger, 18-year old Kaela Hillard of Beaver Dam, was transported by ambulance to Owensboro Regional Health Hospital.
None of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
KSP says it’s currently unknown of drugs or alcohol was involved in the collision and it remains under investigation.
