The Guthrie Police Department is welcoming a new officer to its ranks.
Officer Dennis Brown is a native of Oklahoma, but now resides in Clarksville with his wife and two daughters.
Brown is a veteran, retired from the U.S. Army.
Fort Campbell brought Officer Brown and his family to the area, according to Guthrie Chief Dean Blumel.
