Hopkinsville Community College employee Jennifer Nazario has been named a recipient of the Virginia Carter Smith Council for the Advancement and Support of Education scholarship.
According to a news release, Nazario was selected from applicants across the globe as one of 100 award winners and the scholarship is awarded to individuals who demonstrate considerable promise and potential as educational advancement professionals.
She is the only recipient working for a Kentucky institution, and one of only three recipients in CASE District III, which represents nine states.
