Two women were arrested early Friday morning after a gun discharged during a fight on Sylvan Terrace.
Hopkinsville police charged 25-year old Qaneisha Taylor and 27-year old Quinasia Daniels of Hopkinsville with first-degree wanton endangerment. Daniels was also charged with two counts of fourth-degree domestic assault and possession of marijuana.
Arrest citations say the two women had been in an argument that became physical.
Daniels allegedly retrieved a gun from a vehicle and it discharged as the two women fought over the weapon. No one was injured by the gunfire.
The first officer arriving on scene in the 400 block of Sylvan Terrace also witnessed Daniels allegedly slap another woman across the face.
