Phil Mickelson won the Charles Schwab Series event at Ozarks National Wednesday in his PGA Tour Champions debut. Mickelson had a final round 66 to finish 22 under and win by four shots. Franklin’s Kenny Perry tied for 33rd at six under par.
Louisville area native Justin Thomas begins play today at the PGA Tour’s BMW Championship-the second event in the Fed Ex Cup playoffs. Thomas tees off just after 12 noon at Olympia Fields in Chicago.
