The Kentucky Department of Education released a statement this morning saying when they have a special meeting tomorrow, they have no intention of canceling high school football or any fall sports. Reports surfaced last night they were going to cancel sports. Interim commissioner Kevin Brown says they will hear from KHSAA Commissioner Julian Tackett about the measure passed last week by the KHSAA Board of Control. Headded there will be discussion and review of matters that could affect the health and safety of students.
