Motorists traveling Fort Campbell Boulevard in Oak Grove today will see a flashing traffic signal at Oak Grove Gaming and Racing.
Sometime during the mid-morning hours, motorists should anticipate a new signal on flashing mode to indicate caution.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says U.S. 41-A will continue to have the right of way and the Oak Grove Gaming and Racing approach will continue to be stop controlled and will be given a flashing red signal to indicate stop.
The signal will remain in flashing operation for one week to familiarize motorists with the new signal. The signal will be placed into red-yellow-green operation Tuesday, September 1.
A contractor will be working in the intersection with a bucket truck Tuesday to adjust signal heads and test the signal. Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution while driving thru this intersection.
