One hurt, one charged in hit and run Pembroke collision

The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a hit-and-run collision in Pembroke that sent a woman to the hospital Tuesday morning.

According to Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Miller, the collision occurred around 10:30 a.m. in front of the Westbrook Subdivision on Pembroke Road.  The driver of one of the vehicles involved, a female victim, was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle involved, 29-year old Kenneth Drum, fled the scene prior to police arrival, but he was located a short time later by deputies on Westbrook Circle. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, fleeing or evading police, second-degree burglary and possession of methamphetamine.
