Phil Mickelson’s PGA Tour Champions debut was a smashing success as the five-time major champion shot a 10-under 61 Monday in the first round of the Charles Schwab Series at Ozarks National. Mickelson, who turned 50 in June, made 11 birdies to build a one-shot lead over David McKenzie. Franklin’s Kenny Perry is tied for 76th at two over par 73.
