Three people were arrested Saturday in Madisonville after a woman said she was assaulted and held against her will.
The victim told police that three armed out of state residents held her against her will and physically assaulted her. She was unable to leave her apartment and had to jump from her second-story bedroom window during the early hours of the morning to escape.
She ran to a family member’s home and dialed 911.
Investigation led to the arrests of 40-year old Eric Sigh of St. Louis, 19-year old Steven Robinson of Evansville and an out of state runaway juvenile. All three were charged with unlawful imprisonment.
Sigh was charged with fourth-degree domestic assault, trafficking in marijuana, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Robinson was additionally charged with unlawful transaction with a minor, possession of a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana and other counts.
