Juvenile arrested for Koffman Drive robbery

A juvenile has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery Friday night on Koffman Drive.

It happened just before 10:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Koffman, with Hopkinsville police saying a juvenile suspect got inside a vehicle with the victims and robbed them at gunpoint.

The juvenile was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree wanton endangerment, tampering with evidence and possession of a handgun by a minor.

Investigation into the robbery took Hopkinsville police to a home on Hickory Ridge Circle, where 20-year old Nathaniel Pruitt of Hopkinsville was arrested for trafficking in a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, unlawful transaction with a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An arrest citation says a clear plastic bag containing what is believed to be ecstasy was found under a couch cushion where Pruitt was sitting when police entered the home. A small digital scale was also found in the couch.

The juvenile was transported to the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center and Pruitt was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
