The Richmond Register reports Eastern Kentucky University is opting out of playing football next spring in the OVC and is announcing an eight game non-conference schedule. The Colonels will open the season September 12th at West Virginia and play other schools that include The Citadel, Central Arkansas twice, Troy, Stephen F. Austin and Western Carolina.
