A graduation ceremony was held Friday to celebrate the success of the 2019-2020 Leadership Hopkinsville-Christian County class, which has seen a unique leadership experience.
Coordinator Candra Barnett says this class had to deal with COVID-19 and still managed to rise to the occasion, and she was honored to be their coordinator.
Cody Noffsinger spoke on behalf of the class, saying they learned more about how Christian County is a great place to live, work and raise families and how much effort goes into making it all work.
The class of 2019-20 made a $1,000 donation to the Humane Society of Hopkinsville, and the recipient of the Sherri Jeffers Spirit of Leadership Award was RB Miller. Work continues to the ‘class project’, which is renovation of the second-floor patio of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library.
