The Todd County Sheriff’s Office has charged a man with theft of an automobile.
Thirty-four-year-old Roy Arms of Elkton is lodged in the Todd County Jail on charges of felony auto theft, fleeing or evading police and driving with a suspended license.
Arms allegedly stole a new pickup on July 24 in Trenton and wrecked it in northern Todd County.
On August 3, Arms allegedly led Elkton police on a pursuit that was ultimately terminated for public safety.
