New Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin says those in the Big-10 and PAC-12 who aren’t playing football this fall due to the pandemic should be allowed to transfer to schools that are. Kiffin made the comment last night on the SEC Network. He added it’s really unfortunate the NCAA is not allowing this to happen, especially for those players who could be in the NFL Draft next spring.
Stephen F. Austin University says it will not play spring football despite the fact the Southland Conference will do so. Athletic director Ryan Ivey tells Texas Football.com the school will play in the fall of 2021 if there is football next year. The Lumberjacks have a non-conference game scheduled for September 26th against SMU and are seeking other non-conference opponents, even those from the Southland who are still trying to make the most of the 2020 season.
