A news release issued by the NCAA on Monday indicated they are willing to move the start date from November 10th for the 2020-21 season. Senior vice president of basketball, Dan Gavitt, says by mid-September, the governing body will announce its first crucial decision about the upcoming season. According to Gavitt contingency plans have been developed that will allow the NCAA to move the start date for practices and games if necessary due to the coronavirus pandemic.
