Trigg schools to begin school year with virtual instruction

Trigg County Schools will follow the governor’s recommendation and begin the academic year with virtual instruction.

That was the decision of the Trigg County School Board during a special-called meeting Monday. Students will begin virtual instruction August 31 and return for in-person instruction, if they choose to do so, September 28.

Families will have the option to continue virtual instruction at home.

The new calendar does not include a fall break.
