Franklin’s Kenny Perry tied for 19th at eight over par 268 and Paducah’s Russ Cochran withdrew before the final round of the PGA Tour Champions Bridgestone Senior Players Championship Sunday in Akron, OH. Jerry Kelly at three under par was a two shot winner over Scott Parel.
Jim Herman shot a final round 63 and finished with a 21-under 259 to win the PGA Tour’s Wyndham Championship in Greensboro. He finished a stroke ahead of Billy Horschel. Doc Redman, Webb Simpson, Si Woo Kim and Kevin Kisner tied for third at minus-18. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker tied for 42nd at seven under and Lexington native Josh Teater tied for 59th at five under par.
