East First Street murder suspect turns self in

The man sought for the murder of a woman Friday morning on East First Street is in jail.

Twenty-year-old Tyresse Hollowell turned himself in at the Hopkinsville Police Department Sunday, according to Officer Mike Atkins.

Hollowell is charged with murder and is lodged in the Christian County Jail on a $1 million bond.

Hollowell allegedly shot 39-year old Tiffany Hinton Gray of Hopkinsville about 1:30 a.m. Friday on East First near Rozelle Avenue.

A second shooting victim, 17-year old Kanina Willingham, was taken to a Nashville hospital with severe injuries following the incident.

Officer Atkins says a male juvenile allegedly connected to the incident also turned himself in over the weekend and is charged with felony possession of a handgun by a minor.
