Hopkinsville police are investigating after a woman was shot Wednesday night on Hayes Street.
It happened about 10:20 p.m. in the 800 block of Hayes, where 20-year old Timanisha Dykes of Hopkinsville told police she was shot twice in the left leg while driving her vehicle. Two bullet holes were found in the car, according to police.
Dykes went by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
She told police she did not know who shot her and no arrests have been made.
