CSX will be closing more railroad crossings in Hopkinsville this coming week starting on starting Monday.
According to a news release, trains will be coming through the area for continued maintenance work along the rail line. On Monday, East 9th Street rail crossing will be closed from 6:00 p.m. Until the morning, Tuesday will be East Fourth Street, Wednesday will be East First Street and then starting on Thursday CSX will start work on remaining rail crossings throughout Hopkinsville. Those will remain closed through the weekend.
Traffic should prepare to detour as needed and all closures are scheduled weather permitting.
