A Cadiz man has been arrested in connection with a burglary in April where the victim’s dog was among the property stolen.
Hopkinsville police served a warrant for complicity to second-degree burglary Wednesday against 34-year old Elton Kassell of Cadiz.
It alleges he worked with three other suspects on April 23 to go into the home of an individual who was in jail and they took electronics, a bicycle and the victim’s dog. The animal has since been returned to its rightful owner, according to police.
Kassell allegedly confessed to being present during the burglary.
