Details have been released on a single-vehicle accident Monday morning on the Pennyrile Parkway that injured the driver.
The report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department says 36-year old Stefanie Stevens of Hopkinsville was northbound near the seven mile-marker when she went off the roadway and struck a guard rail.
Deputies say Stevens was having a seizure when they arrived and she continued having seizures while being transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Police say several plastic straws with burnt ends were found in the vehicle and drug involvement is listed as a possible factor in the crash.
