The Christian County Health Department is reporting 21 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 since Saturday.
That’s according to Monday’s update, which shows 21 news cases and puts the overall total since the pandemic began at 647. Currently, 180 cases are considered active and 459 people have recovered from the virus.
Breaking it down into age groups there are 39 active cases in the pediatric age group, 96 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 40 in the older adult category and five in the elderly age group. Christian County has seen eight COVID-19 related deaths.
