A vehicle versus bicycle collision Sunday night in Nortonville killed a Madisonville man.
Kentucky State Police investigated and determined 77-year old Charles Gordon of Earlington was northbound on US 41 in Nortonville. When his vehicle reached the bridge that crosses East Louisville Street, his car struck a northbound bicycle operated by 61-year old Ronnie Gibson of Madisonville.
Gibson’s bicycle did not have lights, according to police.
The Hopkins County Coroner’s Office pronounced Gibson dead at the scene.
