An investigation by Hopkinsville Thursday night on Elaine Drive ended with the arrest of a woman for methamphetamine trafficking.
Officers were called to a disturbance at a home in the 400 block of Elaine about 11:30 p.m. and a search allegedly revealed a small black bag containing over two grams of meth and multiple prescription pills.
Police arrested 30-year old Melissa Forst of Hopkinsville for trafficking in meth and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
An arrest citation says Forst admitted the bag and drugs belonged to her.
