A Pembroke woman was injured and charged with DUI and wanton endangerment after she wrecked her vehicle Thursday night on Pembroke Road.

A Hopkinsville police collision report says 29-year old Eiesha Whitlock of Pembroke had been southbound when she went off the roadway near Frank Yost Lane and her car overturned.

Whitlock had to be extricated from her vehicle and a police report says there was a strong odor of alcohol coming from her person. EMS transported Whitlock and her two juvenile passengers to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where medical personnel reportedly said Whitlock appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

A blood test was administered and the results will be subpoenaed.

Whitlock is charged with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and DUI.
