KSP looking for help to identify body found in Trigg County

Kentucky State Police is asking for the public’s help to identify the human remains found Thursday in a wooded area near Old Rocky Point Road.

An autopsy was performed Friday in Madisonville and Coroner John Mark Vinson has said foul play is suspected in the death. KSP says two bracelets, a blue Reebok t-shirt, a pair of black And 1 tennis shoes and what appears to be a necklace were found with the remains.

Detectives have not been able to identify the victim and released photos of the items in hopes someone in the public may know to whom they belong.  No other information on the person has been released.

Anyone with information on the incident should call KSP at 1-800-222-5555.
