A Calloway County man has been charged with murder for a fatal collision from last year.
As previously reported, 40-year old Shannon Jarvis of New Concord had been southbound on KY 121 South on August 23, 2019 when his vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and struck a vehicle driven by 80-year old Mary Cole of New Concord in a head-on manner.
Cole died from her injuries and Jarvis was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Kentucky State Police recently arrested Jarvis and charged him with murder, operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance and other traffic offenses.
